I made this card for my grandson, Forest, who has gone up to Oregon for the summer to visit his dad. I will miss him sooooo much!!! But, he is having a GREAT time and I'm happy for that. He is a sweet, sweet boy and I love him dearly!
There is a river nearby where they live and they often take walks to it and go swimming (It's a very safe and shallow river.), so when I saw this image online (free), I just HAD to make this card for him and send it to him.
HAVE FUN on your vacation, Forest. I'll see you when you get back!
I LOVE YOU!
Awe it is so hard when the grand kids go away. My oldest grandson used to love fishing with me but he has moved away and I miss him too.
ReplyDeleteAny chance of sharing the free site for that image? It is perfect.
Myrna
Thank you Myrna for the sweet comment. Yes, these grandchildren do grow up - all too fast for me...I tell them that their growing so fast should be illegal!!!
ReplyDeleteWhich site are you referring to to put my card on?
Hi Cindy
ReplyDeleteI was referring to the free site that you found the image on. I was wondering where it was so I might possibly find it to use for a card for my grandson. Sorry if I might have been vague and made you think you should put your card on a site.

DeleteOh, no problem at all, Myrna. When I download the images I really don't keep them by site...usually I categorize them by what they are such as angels, birthday, etc. So I really don't remember the site where I got it. But, if I can find it, surely I will let you know. As I look at the image, I'm pretty sure it was on the "Free Digital Stamps" site recently. Check back here in a day or two...I will see if I can find it for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the comment :)
Sorry Myrna...I went wayyyyy back in the Free Digital Stamps site and I couldn't find it. It might not have even been on that site. If I run across it again though, I'll let you know. :)
DeleteCindy I appreciate all your effort.
ReplyDeleteI have a bad habit of using something once and then forgetting where I found it or keeping track of where things came from.
Thanks again.
